Democracy Is The Best System – Second Deputy Speaker

The Second Deputy Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, Honorable Andrew Asiamah Amoako who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Adansi Fomena Constituency in the Ashanti Region – has advised the youth to eschew all forms of acts that could threaten the continuance of democratic peace in Ghana.

Speaking an interview,  during his official visit to the constituency center for the limited Voter’s Registration exercise, he argued that despite its flaws, democracy has proven to be the best form of governance, and must therefore be guarded jealously by all.

Describing the registration exercise as largely peaceful, Honorable Asiamah, however, admitted that the centralization of the process had cast some form of financial burden onto the key stakeholders. He disclosed that political parties have had to spend their resources on conveying people from other towns to register at the designated center.

Also, The Presiding Member (PM) for Adansi North District, Hon Dominic Odame Kusi has acknowledged the NPP government for the amazing work doing in the district.
