Declare Your Stance On Hajj Village Project Or Bow Your Heads In Shame- Chairman Agyei To Clergy

The Manhyia North 2nd Vice Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Kwaku Agyei, has thrown a challenge to clergymen who criticized the construction of the National Cathedral during Nana Addo’s administration.

Agyei is calling on these clergymen to publicly declare their stance on the proposed Hajj Village project by the current NDC administration.

Agyei’s statement implies that the clergymen who spoke against the National Cathedral project are being hypocritical by not speaking out against the Hajj Village project.

He questions whether the country’s economic situation has improved, as the same concerns about poverty and hardship that were raised during the National Cathedral debate seem to be absent in the discussion around the Hajj Village project.

“If the National Cathedral wasn’t necessary, then the Hajj Village is also not necessary,” Agyei emphasized, highlighting the perceived double standard.
