The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), Kofi Owusu Omar, has stressed that it would be a waste of time for Ghanaians to vote for the NDC to come back to government and create a big mess.
He emphasized that going by the record of its achievements the NDC has failed woefully in all sectors of the economy.
“NDC brought woes to the country. They don’t know how to govern. What they know is to deceive the public by throwing dust into their eyes. If you are to assess them you will score them 2%”, he told Oheneba Nana Asiedu on the Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show on Wednesday
According to Chairman Omar, there is a vast difference when one compares Akufo-Addo government to John Mahama’s government.
He mocked that, “while Akufo-Addo and the NPP are promising to distribute brand new VW cars to teachers John Mahama and his NDC are making the legalization of Okada a very big issue which is indeed a very cheap decision to take.”
He indicated that, the election 2020 will definitely be based on the achievements of both the NPP and NDC and that the later will suffer a humiliating defeat because “they very little to show.” .
He said that Akufo-Addo in when campaigning in 2016 saw the country’s development would be retarded if another Districts and Regions are not created.
Ghanaians are fully aware of the predicament the COVID-19 has created but through the able leadership of President Akufo-Addo everything is stable.
