December Elections: Mahama Is Making Fake Promises To Ghanaians- PPP Comm. Officer
The communication officer Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Mr Richard Boadu, has said that, the former President John Dramani Mahama is making fake Promises to Ghanaians as he goes about his campaign tours.
He said that, Ghanaians did not benefit from the policies of the opposition NDC when they were in power yet they are standing on roof tops to make further promises for the upcoming December general elections.
“The opposition NDC members including their flagbearer may have forgotten that they made a number of promises in their 2016 manifesto which were not fulfilled yet they have had the temerity to make further promises which expose them as liars.” He said.
In an interview on Wontumi TV and Radio, Mr.Boadu added if in case the NDC win the 2020 elections they will still deceive Ghanaians by failing to fulfill all the promises they are making.
According to Mr Richard Boadu, the 2020 election is not about making fake promises but rather good policies and records from past achievements especially in the fields of Education and Health.
He said that, Ghanaians are now able to think far unlike previously when they could just be taken for granted with empty promises due to past experiences.
“Ghanaians now have a new mind set which makes it impossible for former former President John Dramani Mahama to fool them again.” He said
Referring to yesterday’s Town Hall meeting addressed by John Mahama, Mr. Buadu said the former President showed clear signs of desperation when he was addressing the audience.
“It beats one’s imagination why he should be in that mood. The December election is all about good and evil so nobody can deceive anybody with fake promises.” He indicated.
