Death Toll In Ejura Protest Now 3
Three persons have died in the clash between irate Ejura Sekyeredumase youth and the military on Tuesday, 29/06/2021
Since the death of the 40-year-old Ibrahim Mohammed, aka Kaaka, the youth say they are willing to sacrifice their lives until they get justice for him.
The youth described the deceased as a crusader for the community who was committed to its progress and advancement while he displayed honesty to the highest level.
Thus, they cannot fathom why he was attacked and murdered in such a manner.
Pressing home their demand for justice, the youth hit the street but were met by the might of both the military and the police.
Four soldiers were seen moving in a horizontal manner as part of a offensive formation to confront the challenge with a police water cannon charging on the protestors.
According to reports, initially, the military started shooting into the sky to scare the protestors but at appoint when they became more aggressive and daring, the security men  started shooting into the crowd which resulted in the casualties as reported by a section of the media.
