COVID:Wearing Nose Mask For Two Weeks Will Reduce The Spread Drastically- GHS Hints
The Programmes Manager of the Extended Programme on Immunization (EPI), Kwame Amponsah Achiano, has reiterated that, should Ghanaians wear the nose mask for a fortnight, it will reduce the spread of the COVID-19 drastically.
He noted that, the breach of the protocols have contributed to the surging spread of the disease.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV Morning Show, Dr. Amponsah Achiano noted that if Ghana would return to normalcy, it lies on the shoulders of the populace on how they will observe the protocols.
“If we don’t observe the protocols, all the measures the government will put in place will be a waste,” he told the sit in host of the programme, Akyemkwaa Nana Kofi Asare.
Dr. Amponsah Achiano disclosed that, 500,000 AstraZeneca vaccines have been secured to vaccinate those who received the first jab.
