COVID: CHASS Welcomes Gov’t Decision To Vaccinate SHS Students

The Conference of Assisted Senior High Schools (CHASS) is embracing steps by the government to vaccinate Senior High School students as part of an effort to curb the COVID-19.

According to the General Secretary of CHASS, Kwame Owusu Aduomi, the outbreak of the pandemic in some of the schools posed a serious threat.

In an interview with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on “The Privilege Morning Show” on Wontumi Radio, Kwame Owusu Aduomi stressed that parents will have no reason to prevent their wards from being vaccinated.

“Everybody should open up and help the government and there should be a law to make the vaccination mandatory,” he said.

Meanwhile, the CHASS General Secretary indicated that the SHSs have been reopened hence parents should let their wards report to school.

Kwame Owusu Aduomi assured that the students will be in safe hands.
