Dr. Samuel Afriyie, has identified irregular communication flow, as a major problem facing the government of President Akufo-Addo.
As a result of this, Dr. Afriyie who lectures at the Kumasi Technical University (KTU) maintains that opponents of ruling administration are able to spread propaganda messages making it difficult for Ghanaians to know the truth.
“The problem that I have with this government is its communication aspect. It is unable to tell the citizens what challenges they are faced with”, Dr. Afriyie said on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline.com.

According to him, the root cause of #FixTheCountry is as a result of appointees of government being unable to communicate what government is doing to the citizens.
“#FixTheCountry platform was created because government communicators were unable to communicate well to us”, he emphasized.
He remarked that the #FixTheCountry campaign is a wake up call on government to start releasing information on what it is doing for the benefit of Ghanaians.
The lecturer stated that despite the challenges of government, Ghanaians would empathize with President Akufo-Addo if it works on making its communication machinery effective.
