Collins Amankwah Has Represented You Well —- Akufo Addo Praises Manhyia North MP

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Monday evening praised the efforts of the incumbent Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Collins Owusu Amankwah.

He said being the first two term MP for the area, the youthful legislator devoted time and energy to seek for the welfare of the people.

Addressing a charged atmosphere at the famous constituency on his first day tour of the Ashanti Region, President Akufo-Addo asked the people of Manhyia North to be proud of their MP because he served both the party and the constituency well.

NPP PRINCIPLES:
The President said the NPP believes in using the democratic process to govern itself.

This, he noted is the reason why elections are held internally to choose both leaders and representatives in Parliament.

The President stressed that it was same process the party used to elect Collins Owusu Amankwah to serve in Parliament as Manhyia North representative for two terms.

He noted that it is same process that is also allowing the new NPP candidate, Mr Akwasi Konadu to represent the party in the December 7 polls.

APPEAL:
The President urged the people of the constituency to step out and vote massively in next week’s presidential and parliamentary elections in the area.

He said by exercising their franchise on December 7th, they would be shaping the future of the youth as well as the people in the constituency.

President Akufo-Addo asked every registered voter to cast his or her vote since that will make them part of the process.

He said the NPP would win the upcoming general elections but needed every vote to ensure it wins a first round victory on December 7th.
