Beleaguered lawmaker Gyakye Qayson continues to come under a barrage of attack following the Supreme Court ruling that barred him from performing his duties as Member of Parliament for Assin North.
Latest to rub salt into his wound is Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II, a political commentator and an ardent support of Vice President Bawumia.
Speaking on his own show which airs on Wontumi TV dubbed ‘Di Bawumia Ho Adanse3’, he stated that the letter ‘P’ should always send shivers down the spine of Gyakye Qayson when he sees it.
“The meaning of the Supreme Court ruling means that when you even see the letter ‘P’, you don’t have to go near it because it might stand for Parliament house”, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II mocked.
He finally stated that Gyakye Qayson brought this trouble upon himself because of the bad advice he took from his party National Executives.

The Supreme Court has ordered the NDC Member of Parliament for Assin North, James Gyakye Quayson, to stop holding himself as an MP until the determination of a suit challenging the constitutionality of his election.
In a 5-2 majority decision Wednesday [April 13, 2022], the apex court ordered Mr Quayson to abstain from any Parliamentary business and also refrain from engaging in activities pertaining to an MP.
