Chief Praises President Akufo-Addo For Reducing Ministers To 85

Etwienana Baffour Oteatuoso Kokoben II, has heaped praises on President Akufo-Addo for reducing the list of his Ministers to 85.

He affirmed that, it’s a good news for President Akufo-Addo to reduce the Ministers from 126 to 85.

Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV Nana Oteatuoso said that, it is fantastic that 8 of the 85 Ministers are females.

He said that, God will continue to bless him for having women at heart.

“Akufo-Addo deserves to be praised for taking such a bold step. There is nothing he cannot do.”

Nana Oteatuoso stressed that, now that the names of the appointees are out, he will scrutinize them.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in a statement signed on his behalf by the Acting Director of Communications at the Presidency, Mr Eugene Arhin, said the number of ministers he will appoint to serve in his second government will not exceed eighty-five (85).

This is down from the 120 ministers who served in his previous administration.

The statement released on Thursday, January 21 said seven Ministries, namely Aviation, Business Development, Inner City and Zongo Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Planning, Regional Re-organisation and Development, and Special Development Initiatives, have been realigned.
