Chairman Wontumi’s Election Prowess Will Guarantee Over 80% Votes In The Ashanti Region – Sir John

Hon. John Kwame Duodu, also known as Sir John, the First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Atwima Nwabiagya, has expressed confidence that the ruling party will win more than 80% of the presidential vote in the Ashanti Region.

Mr. Duodu, who also serves as the National Deputy Organizer for Friends of Bawumia 2008 Foundation (FoB-‘o8), the Ashanti Regional TESCON Patron, stated that with Hon Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, as campaign manager/Chairman in the region, their flagbearer, Alhaji Dr. Mahmoudu Bawumia, will not receive less than 85% of the vote.

He stated that Chairman Wontumi, who is also the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has consistently surpassed expectations to secure more votes than predicted.

Sir John attributed his confidence in Chairman Wontumi’s managerial excellence to his past achievements and determination.

As stated by him, Chairman Wontumi’s strategic oversight and past achievements make him a “miracle worker” capable of satisfying this lofty target.

“With Chairman Wontumi as regional campaign manager, I can assure you that over 80% of the presidential vote in the Ashanti Region is safeguarded. He took over the party while it was in opposition and guided it to victory by ensuring that the NPP received higher turnout in the region,” Sir John said.

He went on to say that it would be surprising if Dr. Bawumia gained less than 75-80 percent in the Ashanti Region because Chairman Wontumi has been working hard to protect his track record.

He is convinced that with a mix of election tactics and the achievements of the Akufo-Addo government, the Ashanti region will honour the party.

“I do not believe that such a target is not achievable with my belief in the election prowess of Chairman Wontumi.”

He reiterated the NPP’s commitment to achieving a significant victory in their stronghold.

Sir John also urged supporters in the Ashanti region to honour President Akufo-Addo’s leadership by supporting the NPP at the polls.
