Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako a.k.a Chairman Wontumi has re-assured Party Supporters of his readiness to welcome everyone including his opponents in the last regional delegates conference to guarantee his party’s victory in the 2024 election.
Chairman Wontumi gave a practical demonstration of his readiness to let bygone be bygone when he invited Odeneho Kwaku Appiah a.k.a Chairman CoKa a losing candidate in NPP’s recent internal elections to join him on stage when he mounted the platform to move a vote of thanks.
The occasion was the official lunch of NPP’s new membership card in the presence of the President, Nana Akufo Addo, and the National, Regional and Constituency executives of the party on Tuesday, 18th October 2022 at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi.
The Regional Chairman said it is the prayer of the NDC that the NPP should be disintegrated because it is in a state of disunity that the opposition party can gain a vast advantage in its bid to recapture in the 2024 elections.
Chairman Wontumi, therefore, urged the teeming NPP members not to tolerate any act or behaviour that can break the ruling party’s front.
“No one will benefit if there is disunity in the NPP and that should not be tolerated.” He noted
Chairman Wontumi, therefore, encouraged all party members to go out in their numbers to register to obtain the NPP’s membership card.
