The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has promised to offer full scholarship to a pupil who was mocked in class by his mates for giving a wrong answer.
The pupil whose name is given as Adusei, was filmed by his teacher and called on to name four political parties in Ghana.
To the amusement of his mates and his teacher who repeated the answers after him, Adusei answered by naming Dr. Bawumia, Asiedu Nketia, Kwame Despite and Chairman Wontumi as the four political parties in Ghana.
Shortly after the video went viral, the NPP Chairman known popularly as Chairman Wontumi responded by revealing that he is ready to support Adusei till he gets to the free Senior High School (SHS) level.
Chairman Wontumi shared his personal story as student that matches that of Adusei by noting that “my teacher called me a stupid boy at Prempeh College for saying I will make it in life than him. By the grace of God, it has come to pass. As a student prophet, I see the boy making it great in future. He mentioned the names of successful people to his teacher.”
Aside that he has promised on Wontumi TV that was closely monitored by Wontumionline.com to also find Adusei a private teacher to help him with studies at home after school.
“I will find him a private study teacher, pay his fees to the SHS level. There is something in him nobody is seeing”, Chairman Wontumi said.
He called on the general public to help him find Adusei and help him.
