Following unsubstantiated claims by Joyce Bawa Mogtari that she has challenges in securing cases as a lawyer, the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has offered her a lifeline and promised to employ her into his fold.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has sent out a public notice to the aide of ex-President John Mahama and promised her a juicy offer if she agrees to work in the legal department of any of his businesses.
Joyce Bawa has been reported to have said that due to victimization and other factors, her law firm is struggling to get cases due to her affiliation with the NDC.
She observed that though the practice existed years ago, it has been worsened under the Akufo-Addo administration with people now afraid to refer cases to her.
“I can’t even find a job, business is not coming and there are some friends you can no longer visit because of politics. These things used to be there they have worsened now.
But in an interview with Wontumionline.com, Mr. Antwi-Boasiako also known as his Chairman Wontumi stated that “I will welcome Joyce as a sister and pay her if she agrees to work for me”.
He added that several jobs abound under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo unlike John Mahama when employment opportunities were frozen due to IMF conditionality.
