Chairman Wontumi Is Tried And Tested, Without Him NPP Can Never Break The 8- Political Analyst
A vibrant Political Analyst, Nana Oteatuoso Kokoben II, has opined that, without Chairman Wontumi, there is no way the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can break the eight years jinx.
He said that, if NPP delegates want the party to go to opposition they can vote for any person to occupy the Ashanti Regional Chairmanship.
In an interview on Wontumi Radio/TV’s flagship programme, The Privilege, Nana Oteatuoso said that, Chairman Wontumi is tried and tested.
He explained that the Ashanti Regional NPP has helped Nana Akufo-Addo to be President for two consecutive terms.
“Chairman Wontumi told Akufo-Addo that he will help him to be President,” he told Nana Konadu Abu Prah.
He said, if Chairman Wontumi has assisted Akufo-Addo to secure another term as President, he should also help the NPP Chairman to retain his position.
“It is time Chairman Wontumi gets something in return from Nana Akufo-Addo for his hardwork for the party,” he indicated.
The firebrand NPP sympathizer noted that, Chairman Wontumi did not contest for any government position so therefore he must be honoured.
Nana Oteatuoso emphasized that Chairman Wontumi is fallible and that any person he has wronged, should forgive him.
