The Member of Parliament for Okere, Dan Kwaku Botwe, has observed that the 2020 election has taken a different twist and has become a movement that favors the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In an interview on an Accra based radio station which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the seasoned politician praised the Ashanti Regional Chairman of his party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, for coining the term ‘2020 is a movement and is stronger than apartheid’.
According to him for the first time in his political life, he is has seen the masses using words and terms to support a political movement aligned to the NPP and moved away from using only NPP symbols to disclose their association.
This the MP who is also the Minister of Regional Reorganisation and Development, claims shows there a big movement that has come to support the NPP just as Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi has been preaching.
He vowed that the 2020 elections would go in the favor of President Akufo-Addo. According to him, “I have been to a lot of place and I have been in politics for long, I see genuine love everywhere we go”.
