Chairman Wontumi has come hard at Professor Steve Hanke describing him as someone who is as “stupid” as Martin Kpebu’s flopped demonstration mixed with former President John Mahama’s failed economy he left behind.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) decision to respond to Prof. Hanke comes on the back of an assertion by the latter that the “economic stupidity” of President Akufo-Addo forced thousands to demonstrate in Accra.
But Chairman Wontumi hit back noting that with time Professor Hanke has revealed himself to be “stupid Professor” whose place belongs to the gutters.
Chairman Wontumi noted that Martin Kpebu’s demonstration last Saturday turned out to be a flop and could not be used as a yardstick to say Ghanaians are angry at President Akufo-Addo.
“Prof. Hanke is a fool to start with, the hardships in Ghana is not only peculiar to Ghana. Everywhere in the world, there is hardship. Even in USA that he resides, there is hardship there due to COVID19 and the war going on in Ukraine. As stupid as he his, he was unable to think through and see this is the main reason the whole world is suffering”, Chairman Wontumi said.
He ended by saying that Prof Hanke’s stupidity is like “Martin Kpebu’s flopped demo mixed with John Mahama’s dumsor economy”.
