Ghanaian musician, Maradona Adjei Yeboah, also known as Guru, has won the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) presidential election at the University of Ghana. This followed weeks of campaigning, which was fraught with disqualifications, legal battles, and other challenges. The 'Lapaz Toyota' hitmaker and his running mate, Jeffery Adu-Yeboah secured 50.7% with 9,455 votes. The elections saw a voter turnout of 18,659.
