This followed weeks of campaigning, which was fraught with disqualifications, legal battles, and other challenges. The 'Lapaz Toyota' hitmaker and his running mate, Jeffery Adu-Yeboah secured 50.7% with 9,455 votes. The elections saw a voter turnout of 18,659.
