Build Trust Among Yourselves – Fuse ODG Tells Ghanaian Creatives

British-Ghanaian musician Fuse ODG has asked Ghanaian creatives to develop trust among themselves in order to create a stronger sector that could compete with the global entertainment space.

According to him, a lack of trust among creatives might prevent networking chances, which would undoubtedly be a game-changer for the sector.

In an interview with Ghanaian television station Joy Prime, the Azonto hitmaker stated that it would be worthwhile if creatives came in with a unified front and a clear game plan to build a thriving industry devoid of external validation.

“I’ve also said we need to spend more time together because that’s how we’re able to build trust amongst each other, so then we’re able to share networks. I always say that we shouldn’t be looking outside for validation, Ghana has too much talent to be getting distracted.”

He continued: “There are certain conversations that I feel it’s not necessary, we need to just continue working, just keep our heads down and just keep pushing and keep working, that’s what we need to do as an industry.”

The UK-based singer also urged creatives to make responsible investments in all areas of their craft, noting that doing so helped other creatives in other parts of the world gain recognition and that it would be useful if they  explored that option.

Fuse ODG is well known for hit  songs like Azonto, Antenna, Million Pound Girl, Dangerous Love, Boa Me, Feels like Home among others.
