BREAKING: Akufo-Addo Reimposes Ban On Funerals, Weddings, Other Social Activities
President Akufo-Addo has reimposed ban on social gatherings.
He said that, funerals, weddings, Cinemas, beaches, night clubs, etc have been banned until further notice.
According to the President who was addressing the nation on measures number 23 taken to combat the spread the of the Coronavirus, he said that, the restrictions of the social gatherings helped to control the spread of the pandemic.
He said that, the country’s current situation on the increasing cases of the pandemic can be dire if efforts are not made.
The latest update on covid-19 provided by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on its official website, Ghana’s active coronavirus cases has seen a surge.
797 new cases of the deadly coronavirus have increased the country’s active cases to 4,665.
15 new deaths have been recorded, pushing the total number of covid deaths recorded in the country from 390 to 405
