Small Boy With Razor Mouth - Atubiga Slams Sammy Gyamfi

The Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has gleefully revealed that his party decision not to participate on Peacefm’s Kokrooko show was his sole decision.

Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Sammy Gyamfi stated that “I took the decision for the NDC to boycott Kokrooko”.

This revelation came as a surprise to the Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Mr. Kweku Baako Jnr., who was also on the show.

For this reason, he sort further clarification from the NDC executive who boasted on national TV that he single handedly took a decision for the NDC to boycott Peacefm’s Kokrooko Morning show.

Few days ago, Sammy Gyamfi posted on his twitter handled that “For the records, the NDC has never and will never beg to appear on Peace FM’s Kookrokoo. The Comm. Bureau that I lead, does not intend to ever return to that show. The NDC brand is far greater than that overhyped platform. Our boycott still stands. Ignore the lies.”

The Communication Officer for the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi disrespected Peace FM’s Kokrokoo platform by accusing Ace Journalist Kwame Sefa Kayi of always playing unfairness on the show between NDC and NPP representatives.

And to the dismay of many, the management of Peacefm, belittled the host of the Kokrokoo Show, by writing a conflict resolution letter to the NDC without his input.

But Kweku Baako responded to the news by stating that the NDC’s boycott was “wrongheaded and not sustainable”.

He further disclosed that he has information that shows that some big men in the NDC had impressed upon the management of Despite Media to make room for the NDC to return to the show.

I don’t feel comfortable when I don’t get to debate people. I only said NDC had impressed upon Despite to write a letter to them to come back to the show. I am not a member of the NDC but I have great friends in the NDC and I don’t have to mention names of people who negotiated”, Mr. Baako revealed.

He condemned the NDC for raising the issue of unfair representation on the show. According to Mr. Kweku Baako, when it comes to empaneling reps on a show, it doesn’t matter how many people amplify and support the position of their interested political party.

He stated that “it can be one person but it is the weight of what you say that matters. It is critical”.
