A Ghanaian nurse, her husband, three kids and her mother have all perished in a terrible accident which occurred over the weekend.
Eunice Maame Fosua, a Community Health Nurse, died alongside her family in the tragic accident on the Kumasi Nkawie Sefwi highways.
The accident reportedly occurred on Saturday, January 8th 2021 as the couple were returning from the wedding of Eunice’s sister.
According to Starr Fm, Eunice and her family attended her husband’s sister’s wedding over the weekend.
Whilst returning home, they had the unfortunate accident near Nkawie.
In the car alongside Eunice was her husband – who was driving – her mother, her child and two other kids.
All six perished in the accident which was caused by her husband attempting an overtaking.
“They were six (6) in the car and all of them couldn’t make it. Eunice, the husband, Eunice’s mother, their child and two other children,” a source told Starr Fm.
“They were returning from the wedding and they met their untimely deaths. The husband attempted an overtaking and saw another car coming. In an attempt to swerve, they landed in a nearby river and got drowned.”
The news has shaken the community of Forifori in Afram Plains South were Eunice works as a Community Health Nurse.
