Bisa Chief Of New Jersey Provides Meat For 200 Widows At EID-AL-ADHA.

Chireh Ibrahim Adams, Bisa Chief of New Jersey in the United States of America and Awrokrom in Ashanti on Monday provided packaged meat to widows at Awrokrom,  a community in the Ahafo Ano South-West District.

The gesture, an occasional activity by the revered Chief and native of the town brought smiles to the faces of about 200 widows.

Presenting the meat to the women in a festive atmosphere,  Chireh Adams said ‘it was a good feeling to be able to give to help widows during sala, properly translated as EID-AL-ADHA.

The Chief used the occasion to commend his friends and partners in the US who he noted supplies funds and medical items to the community every year.

DESIRE:
Chireh Adams noted his desire to see widows do well in the Awrokrom community.

Being a farming community and area which is not properly developed, the Bisa Chief said he would explore more ways to be of help to them.

He noted that when women are empowered and provided with skills as well as funds they could so more help keep their homes well.

“I believe in women empowerment and I promise to continually explore more avenues to be of help to these widows and women in this community so they could be on their feet and do something for themselves and their families”, Chireh Adams posited.

ASSEMBLY MEMBER:
Speaking to the media, Haruna Abubakar,  Assembly member for the Boatengkrom electoral area commended Chireh Adams for the gesture.

He said he has continually noticed the benevolent act of the native of Awrokrom and Chief of Bisa in New York and was proud to know him.

Hon Abubakar pledged his support to the Bisa Chief so that collectively they could collaborate and work to ensure people living in Awrokrom have better lives.

APPRECIATION:
Mariam Mahamudu, a 40-year-old widow thanked the Chief for the gesture.

She wondered how she would have celebrated the EID without the beef.

Fatima Abubakar, a 52-year-old widow could not keep her joy at bay as she sang to bless the name of the Bisa Chief.

She said she had been a beneficiary of the medical supply and cloth sharing occasion by Chireh Adams and prayed that Allah blesses the latter.
