The Bia West Police have arrested 22 year old Francis Awuni for allegedly beheading a man at Sefwi Amoakrom in the Bia Western North Region.
The deceased, 45 year old Azumah had hired the suspect to work as a labourer in his rice farm.
But Francis Awuni murdered the deceased in his own farm and the head put in a polythene bag waiting for a buyer.
The suspect after cutting off Azumah’s head alleged that the deceased attempted to use him for money rituals and he took revenge and murdered him.
The Bia West District Police Command has put the culprit behind bars and the body deposited at the Bia West Government hospital waiting for autopsy.
