Berla Mundi, a talented Ghanaian broadcaster with Media General, buried her father on Saturday, December 4, 2021.
Berla Mundi did not go through this sad episode of her life alone but had her colleagues at Media General,owners of TV3 and other subsidiary media outlets, as well as friends and sympathizers join to commiserate with her.
Photos which surfaced online saw the likes of Giovani Caleb, Johnnie Hughes, Cookie Tee, AJ Sarpong and other celebs clad in black outfits to signify their mourning state.
Giovani in particular was trying to provide emotional support to his best friend and work mate Berla Mundi in a series of photos that have popped on social media.
The Host of Showbiz 360 on TV3 shared photos on his Instagram platform and indicated that Berla was broken to the core but he managed managed force a smile on her gloomy face.
His caption read;
“Glad I managed to force a smile out of you my friend. Supporting our sister & colleague @berlamundi as she bids the Dad farewell. Take heart Teshie Beyoncé. Prays up with u and the #Adaddey family.”
Little information is available on when exactly Berla’s lost her father and what took his life as the television personality kept those details away from social media.
Only the name of Berla Mundi’s mother is knows but what we know is she is from the Krobo Tribe, an ethnic group classified as part of the Ga-Adangbe ethnolinguistic group.
