The Parliamentary candidate for Bekwai Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei has pledged to offer his constituents jobs when they cast their votes for him on December 7.
He said he will introduce a “self sufficient Bekwai Constituency” initiative that seeks to bolster employment in the area.
Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV on 21st November, 2024, the legal practitioner reiterated his commitment towards employment avenues and development when he takes the reins of office.
“What we need in Bekwai Constituency now is jobs. My goal is to create job opportunities for the youths . This is how it will be done. I will partner with the government and private organizations.
“There is an oil mill in Anwiakwanta. I am working to see to it that people are employed as soon as it is commissioned.
I will propose to the cement factory to give us a quota on the number of constituents they are going to employ.
“We have graduates, engineers, and others in Bekwai. I am focused that in my first in term in Parliament, jobs will be created and I believe that my agenda, Self sufficient Bekwai Constituency will be attained ” he explained.
