Beautiful Nana Dokua Asiamah Adjei recaptures her seat as the Member of parliament for Akuapim North constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The number of representation of women in parliament has seen a rise from 2016 after last Tuesday’s parliamentary race held across the country.
Mrs. Nana Dokua Asiamah Adjei born on 24 July 1982 is a Ghanaian politician and member of parliament for Akuapem North constituency in the Eastern region of Ghana.
As a staunch member of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) she also doubles as the current deputy minister of information.
She was appointed as the Deputy Minister for information by His Excellency President Akuffo Addo
Nana Dokua is a proud Alumunus of She Alsyd Academy and St Roses Senior High school respectively.
She earn her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana and a master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain from Exeter University in the United Kingdom.
Following ,Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah Adjei was the managing director of Bekleen Limited from 2007 to 2016 and Pongas Limited from 2007 to 2015.
On Tuesday December 7, she recaptured the Akuapim North Constituency seat for the NPP in an overwhimly victorty.
The hardworking MP culled 26,646 votes representing 55.33% of the total valid votes cast whiles her opponent Justice Kotey Amasah managed 10,505 representing 21.81 of the total valid votes cast.
