The Queenmother of Odumase in Asante Akyim Central, Odumasehemaa Nana Yaa Akwaa III has slammed critics of flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to her, it is only the people who do not take time to deeply reflect on trending issues of national development and policies that will have difficulty understanding Bawumia’s policies .
She made this known during a courtesy visit by Bernard Antwi Bosiako, the Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party, to Asante Akyim Central Traditional council.
She stressed that the flagbearer’s achievements surpass that of any previous vice president, citing several accomplishments.
“Not everyone understands the policies of the vice president, Dr. Bawumia. Even in education, if you do not further to a certain level, you will not comprehend everything so the literates will understand his policies and can resonate with them. Ghanaians should know this and rally their support for Bawumia ” she said.
In addition, she denounced claims that Dr. Bawumia was responsible for the bad economy, urging citizens to work hard to increase the nation’s productivity.
“People say times are hard. Traders are complaining of bad sales but it is God who blesses us with money, not humans. If you work, you will gain the money and will apportion blames on politicians” she emphasized.
She however implored electorates to cast their votes for Dr. Bawumia on December 7, for transformation.
