The New Patriotic Party is fortunate to have a top striker in the person of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and a defender like Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, Kofi Owusu Omar has observed.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), stated on Wontumi TV that the defensive position being played by Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako alias Chairman Wontumi has greatly rendered the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ineffective.
“My friend in the NDC once told me that mostly when the NDC goes for meeting, they talk about Chairman Wontumi and how to beat his strategies”, Kofi Owusu Omar said.
Few days ago, Kofi Owusu Omar, predicted that in 2024, Ghana’s Presidency, would be handed over to Vice President Bawumia and not former President Mahama.
He contended that “Bawumia is 2024 President of Ghana” adding that he doesn’t see any candidate within the New Patriotic Party aside Dr. Bawumia, with the wit to beat Mr. Mahama.
He commended Dr. Bawumia for dazzling as Vice President and rated him as a “great politician”.
Mr. Kofi Omar also praised Chairman Wontumi for boldly declaring that the greatest achievement of President Akufo-Addo was to discover Dr. Bawumia.
