The Second Lady Samira Bawumia has described her husband, Vice Presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as an “experienced apprentice” in governance.
Mrs. Bawumia was speaking in Ofinso South where she addressed a gathering of Zongo Chiefs and people of Kokotro as part of her Ashanti Regional campaign tour to solicit votes for her husband’s bid to become the next president.
Hajia Samira said the election is about a choice of an expirience, visionary, caring and listening apprantice who can steer the affairs of the country to benefit all.
Mrs. Bawumia praised Dr. Bawumia’s dedication and expertise, citing his successful tenure as Vice President “Dr. Bawumia has served diligently under President Nana Akufo-Addo, learning the intricacies of governance and economic management, his experience and expertise make him the ideal candidate to lead our nation forward.”
