PAOK equalised ten minutes into the second half through Konstantinos Koulierakis’ header.
The Greeks took the lead when Despodov collected a precise pass from Baba Rahman and fired home into the bottom left corner in the 81st minute.
PAOK scored a decisive third goal when Brandon Thomas slotted home in the 96th minute, but the hosts refused to give up and scored a consolation in the 99th minute when a penalty was awarded in the 99th minute which Bojan Radulovic converted on the stroke of full-time.
