Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, is looking to get rid of at least seven squad members before the summer transfer window closes on September 1, according to reports. The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has thrown his support behind the processes for the restitution and reparation of African cultural properties stolen by Europeans. Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister’s red card in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Bournemouth has been overturned following a successful appeal. The Argentina midfielder, 24, was sent off and suspended for three matches after he clipped Ryan Christie’s foot in the 58th minute at Anfield. The Tamale International Airport has been officially opened today, paving the way for international flights to land and take off. Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who inaugurated the project, said the new airport will serve as an alternative to the Kotoka International Airport and will enhance the aviation sector in Northern Ghana in particular and the country as a whole.
