The African Union (AU) just shipped “corruption man” John Mahama to Somalia, the Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has cried out.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has commented on Mr. John Mahama’s recent appointment to serve as the High Representative to Somalia noting that a little background check would’ve made the AU shy away from working with him.
Chairman Wontumi as the NPP stalwart is mostly referred to, noted in an interview with Wontumionline.com that “John Mahama is a man who can go from zero (0) to hundred (100) when it comes to cooking corrupt deals”.
He explained that Mr. Mahama’s ability to cook corrupt deals, has earned him the moniker “corruption man” and for that reason, Somalia should be weary of the man who is about to enter their country.
Former President John Dramani Mahama has been appointed as the High Representative to Somalia by the African Union (AU).
A statement by the AU Chairperson Moussa Faki Mahamat said, “As the High Representative for Somalia’s political track. President Mahama will work with the Somali stakeholders, to reach a mutually acceptable compromise towards an all-encompassing resolution for the holding of Somali elections in the shortest time possible.
“In fulfilling his mandate, the High Representative will be supported by AMISOM, to ensure that the mediation efforts and the peace support operation work together seamlessly.”
