Ato Forson Isn’t An Economic Gem…Armah Buah Brought ‘Dumsor’- Dr. Amankwah

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) would regret its decision of elevating Hon. Ato Forson and Hon. Armah Kofi Buah to lead the minority caucus in parliament, Dr. Emmanuel Adu Amankwah has said.

The Senior lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) stated on Wontumi TV that the changes made by the leadership of the NDC has shown that they are a party that doesn’t “learn”.

He wondered the thinking that went into electing the Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan Esiam constituency, Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson as the Minority leader in parliament. He went on to question the leadership of the NDC about what also informed them to make Hon. Armah Buah their deputy Minority leader.

According to him, “Ato Forson is not an economic gem” and blamed Armah Buah as the minister who plunged the country into “dumsor”.

Last week, leadership of the NDC in Parliament was changed. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has taken over from Haruna Iddrisu as the new Minority Leader.

Ellembelle MP, Kofi Armah Boah has replaced James Klutse Avedzi as Deputy Minority Leader. Kwame Agbodza is now the Chief Whip for the opposition side and will be deputised by Banda MP, Ahmed Ibrahim and Ada legislator, Comfort Doyo Ghansah respectively.
