A 73 years old granny has advised the executives of the National Democratic Congress to desist from sharing cutlasses and wellington boots at Assin North as the by-election approaches.
The aged woman who spoke on the Wontumi multimedia road show at Assin Kushea stated that she expects the NDC to provide and register the people of Assin North onto the health insurance scheme and not to attempt to buy their votes with goodies like boots and cutlasses.
“Whether you are old or young, you have access to health issurance. This government has done a lot for me. Under this government when I go to the hospital they make me pay less. Some of the drugs cost GHC700 but when the health workers attend to me, they tell me to pay just GHC10”, she said.
“My children need support so I want this government to help them with education not wellington boots or cutlasses”, granny added.
