The aspiring Assembly member MR . ABUBAKAR ALHASSAN(Baba) for Abunyanya electoral area in Nkwanta North in the Oti Region of Ghana donates to the CHPS compound in his electoral area.
Yesterday Sunday 3rd September,2023 Mr . Abubakar Alhassan fulfilled his pledged upon a request put before him when he visited the facility last two months, according to the Nurses in the said CHPS compound, they lack Benches and Security in the facility.
Due to the inadequate Benches women find it difficult to participate in the weighing services.
The women and the community members complained to him the way nurses behave when they visit the facility in midnight.
When he approached the health workers( Nurses), they explained to him that, it’s lack of security that is why they fear to come out to work in midnight, hence the need for security recruitment. Mr . Abubakar Alhassan pledged to help get a security for the facility.
On Sunday 3rd September,2023. He fulfill such pledges by providing the facility with five(5) long Benches , Cutlass , Mosquito Nets and some clothes to Orphans and widows in the community.
The Cutlass is for the Security man’s self protection and the Benches for the women to use during Weighing Section and anytime one goes there for health care.
Mr . Abubakar Alhassan indicated he will pay the security man and also register him on the Ghana health insurance.
The Chief and his elders thanked Mr . Abubakar Alhassan for his usual kind gesture, the women sing praises to him because he has done alot for them and still doing it
The people of the Community pledged their support for him during the up coming District Assembly elections.
The health workers (Nurses) also appreciated his donations and promised to make good use of the items and the Security man to improve health care delivery.
