Asokwa NPP Deputy Secretary Organises Indoor Games For Party Folk.

Eric Adu Fosu, the Deputy Constituency secretary for the Asokwa branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has put up plans to get the electorate and delegates in the community active at this Easter holidays.

Consequently, he has put together some indoor games including table tennis, ludo and cards playing to entertain and energize participants who will be drawn from the various electoral areas in Asokwa.

Speaking to this reporter Thursday morning, Cuscus, as the deputy secretary is fondly referred to by party members, said all was set for the event.

He noted that the games billed to take place from the 3rd, 4th and 5th April, 2021 would be held at the Edward Osei Kwaku Youth Center in Ahensa-Estate, a community in Asokwa.

PURPOSE:

Explaining the purpose of the games, Cuscus noted that Easter connotes happiness and therefore as a party person he decided to put this together to enable members to fraternize and share ideas.

He said such festive occasions also provide opportunity for party members to bond and enjoy whatever may be available together be it food or drinks.

The games, he also noted, would become an avenue for the discovery and unearthing of talents in Asokwa.

These talents, the deputy secretary posited, could be recommended to the youth ministry for assistance and support to enable them to excel at what they do.

DETAILS:

Giving further details, Mr Fosu said cash prizes would be offered to persons who would take part and win their respective contests in the finals.

He stressed that participating teams from the electoral areas would be refreshed as well as receive a token having made themselves available for the games.

Overall winners at the event will take home mouth watering prizes with the first prize being a cash amount of 1,500gh, runners up will take home 1000gh, second runner up will take home 700gh and third runner up will have 500gh.

Mr Fosu noted that consolation prizes will be available to teams who lost to the eventual winners.
