Asokwa Constituency: His Execllency Charges MP To Smoke Peace Pipe With Independent Candidates
Ghana’s High Commissioner to South- Africa, His Excellency George Ayisi Boateng, has appealed to the Member of Parliament (MP) for Asokwa Constituency, Hon. Patricia Appiagyei to smoke peace pipe with the Independent candidate.
He said that, Sompahemaa as Hon. Patricia Appiagyei is fondly called should invite the Independent candidate, Hon. Eric Osei to solve their differences.
In an exclusive interview on the Kumasi-based Wontumi Radio 101.3/ TV, he appealed to the NPP leaders in the Ashanti Region to also intervene.
“I’m appealing to Chairman Wontumi to also intervene for the Independent candidate to stop. They should also adhere to the advice of the Regional Chairman.”
Onipa nua as he is affectionately called reiterated to Oheneba Nana Asiedu, host that, the Independent candidate should let go any wrong anybody in the party has done against him.
He said, “You don’t know what you all get. Akufo-Addo remembers the effort each is putting up in the party. If you are able to go to him and tell him your problem or helps the party to retain the seat, he knows what he can do to help you.” He emphasized
His Excellency Ayisi Boateng recalled that, sometime ago he contested NPP primaries at Subin Constituency but lost the seat.
He said that, a section came to run Independent but since he did the opposite, he is now Ghana’s High Commissioner to South-Africa.
“Everybody’s time will come. Nobody can destroy God’s plan”. He noted.
