Dr. Smart Sarpong has accused the National Chairman of the Nation Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia of being “problematic”.
According to Dr. Sarpong who is a distinguished political researcher and a lead member of the group Academic Patriot, the decision by Mr. Asiedu Nketia aka General Mosquito to contest Mr. Ofosu Ampofo for the NDC’s national Chairmanship position, was very problematic followed by his decision to reshuffle the parliamentary leadership of his party.
“It is mostly like he doesn’t consult before doing things”, Dr. Smart Sarpong said as he predicted that it would have a dire effect on the chances of the NDC winning the 2024 election.
“All efforts the NDC is doing to secure 2024 elections is going be negative”, he said.
