Ashanti Region YEA Satisfied With Work Of Police Assistants, Extends Contract

The Ashanti Regional Director for Youth Employment Agency (YEA) Mr Seth Twumasi has stated that the agency is satisfied with the work done by the community police assistant who were recruited in 2018 to assist police officers in the country.

The community police assistant model under the YEA aims at assisting police officers in their work.

Due to the good work done by the personnel, the agency has re-engaged the service of the personnel to continue with the good work done.

In an interview with Wontumi TV, Mr Twumasi noted that they appreciate efforts of the beneficiaries especially during the lock down where a chunk of the personnel helped the police officers to execute their jobs.

This is the first time the YEA have extended their contract for the past two years under the leadership of Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua and his Board Members headed by Sammy Awuku.

The Tafo Divisional Police Commander, ACP Akwasi Annor Arhin who graced the occasion called on the personnel to be vigilant in their work since their conduct shall be recorded every month.

For his part the Tafo Municipal Director for YEA Mr Aboagye Isaac Jnr who explained the rationale behind the program applauded President Akufo-Addo and the leadership of YEA for the initiative.

The elated personnel thanked President Akuof-Addo and Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua for the opportunity and asked Ghanaians to vote massively to retain the Nana Addo led NPP government to do moire for the country.
