Ashanti NPP Needs A Humble, Experience Regional Youth Organizer To Break The 8 – Sulemana Bawumia Writes
Snr. Martin Ameyaw holds an MSc. in Industrial Finance and Investment from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology,(KNUST, Kumasi).
He was appointed in 2018 to work with the Nation Builders Corp as Ashanti Regional Monitor.
He has worked, served and learned in several key areas in the NPP as a whole and the youth wing particularly.
Noticeable among his service is his international experience at the International Academy for Leadership, IAF in Germany.
Snr. Martin Ameyaw passed a competitive test to be selected among world youth leaders from different countries to participate in a program dubbed “Strengthening Political Youth Organizations” at the International Academy for Leadership (IAF) in Gummersbach, Germany.
The program took him to Dressden and Dusseldorf Parliament where he had an opportunity to learn and interact with some experienced Members of Parliament on elections, governance and political campaigns.
This program has built and improved his capacity to be more efficient and effective. As the world is becoming a global village, leaders of political youth organizations require these kinds of valuable exposure to evolve along.
The experience has offered him the opportunity to network with people of different political persuasions, countries, societies and cultures.
The program helped shape and strengthen his convictions in the liberal democratic principles upon which our great party is founded.
Equally relevant is the training He received on Policy Development, Recruitment and Motivation of Membership, Funding and Financing, Campaigning, the use of New Media in political communication with the youth, Strategic thinking and planning and finally Management of membership to become an important resource.
The importance of these skills in youth leadership in today’s world cannot be overemphasized. I BELIEVE THE NPP YOUTH WING OF ASHANTI DESERVE THIS KIND OF LEADERSHIP AND TRAINING.
