Ashaiman No More Belongs To NDC, NPP Coming Like A Wound Lion To Snatch The Parliamentary Seat- MCE

Chief Executive of Ashaiman Municipality, Hon. Albert Boakye Okyere, has said that, with the new voters’ register, the work that Nana Akufo-Addo has done in the area and the developmental projects going on , the NDC cannot boast of keeping the Ashaiman Parliament seat any longer..

According to the Ashaiman MCE, as the election is drawing nigh, the tension in the area has started heating up.

He revealed that 167,000 applicants participated in the voters’ registration exercise.

According to the DCE, the area recorded the second highest voters.

According to the MCE, the area’s Parliamentary seat was a ‘domitory seat’ because there was no development projects when he became the DCE.

But in an interview on Wontumi Radio/TV on the Election 2020 programme, Hon. Okyere stated that, the Ashaiman sprawling community is gradually getting a facelift under the NPP.

He said that, both John Mahama and Nana Akufo-Addo have been President of the country and Ghanaians have noticed the achievements of each.

He said that, Ghanaians should assess the work that each President did and what both are saying they will do before deciding on who deserves their vote.

“Nana Akufo-Addo has said that he will do more for us so why don’t we give him another four more years?” Hon. Okyere surmised.
