The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei-Mensah, has lashed out at Kennedy Agyapong by advising him to move away from thinking that simply because he has money, he automatically qualifies to be the President of Ghana.
He used the story of Bill Gates and Aliko Dangote as case studies to advise the Assin Central legislator whose wealth doesn’t even measure a ‘cent’ of what the two world billionaires have to measure his expectation in the impending New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential primary.
Speaking directly to Kennedy Agyapong on the ‘Mmra Ne Abrabo Mu Nsem’ show hosted by Lawyer Maurice Ampaw on Wontumi TV, the Ashanti regional Minister stated that “he should remember that Bill Gate has money but is not the President of USA. Dangote is a rich man but he is not the President of Nigeria.”
He therefore tasked Kennedy Agyapong to use his wealth to rather win the NPP seats they lost in Central region; specifically Assin North.
“After November 4th go and win the Assin North and Central region seats for the NPP so that we can see what he is capable of doing”, the Ashanti regional minister said.
