The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Akyem North, Hon. Andy Appiah Kubi, says if the New Patriotic Party (NPP) fails to rectify the howler made prior to the 2020 Election in Kumasi, the electorate will punish the party.
According to him, though the party secured more Parliamentary seats in the Ashanti Region the votes the party secured were not encouraging.
Participating on Wontumi Radio and TV Morning Show, Hon. Appiah Kubi emphasized that, it is a warning the people of Kumasi issued to the party on the votes they secured.
According to him, a person who can work as Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Mayor to work for the party to be attractive to the people must be appointed.
“We need a party faithful to be KMA Boss because it will be pathetic if upon the achievements of Nana Akufo-Addo NPP are not able to break the eight,” he said.
The Asante Akyem North MP affirmed that, all the projects that the governing party has initiated would be abandoned if they don’t win the 2024 elections.
