Asanteman Is Grateful For Numerous Projects- Francis Adomako Commends President Akufo-Addo
The Ashanti Regional Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Francis Adomako has commended the President for ensuring that serious developmental projects such as the Agenda 111 hospital project are extended to the Ashanti region.
He noted that apart from good roads that the region has seen for two years now, the region can boast of Tepa Government hospital construction and completion.
The region, he noted has had the opportunity to have a modern-day maternity block at KATH.
He noted that the abandoned MBU unit complex that had been abandoned at KATH will see a completely new one in itself stead since the old structure was deficient.

We Commend President Akufo-Addo For Numerous Developmental Projects In Ashanti
The President of the Republic, on Tuesday, 17th July 2020 cut sod for the commencement of the construction of 111 district and regional hospitals across the length and breadth of the country.
This colorful ceremony took place in the Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, a suburb of the Ashanti Region.
As the famous saying by William Arthur Ward goes, “Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”
It is against this backdrop that the Ashanti Regional Organizer, on behalf of the various wings of the party, wishes to express their gratitude to the first gentleman of the land.
Ashanti Region, undoubtedly, is the stronghold of the NPP, and this has always been reflected in the election results every year. It is evidence suggests that both in 2016 and 2020, the votes from Ashanti Region played the most significant role in bringing the NPP to power.
The President upon assumption of office in 2017, has always demonstrated through his programs and policies that Asanteman is dear to his heart.
Ranging from appointments of personnel to various offices and physical developmental projects.
Projects such as Afari Military Hospital, Kumawu, and Fomena District Hospitals which were started by the NDC administration are now at their various stages of completion, and shall soon be commissioned to start operating.
The K.A.T.H maternity block was started and completed by the current administration, works are currently ongoing on the 44year old abandoned K.A.T.H Maternity and Children’s block, asphalting of Kumasi Roads by this government, reconstruction of KNUST Teaching Hospital, Construction of Kumasi International Airport.
Others are the Construction of Abandoned Krofrom Market, completed the Osei Tutu affordable housing unit which was started by J.A Kuffour but was abandoned by the NDC.
The rest are the commencement of works on the Boankra Inland Port, numerous astroturf pitches across the length and breadth of the region, just to mention a few.
On top of it all, the President on Tuesday, choose Ashanti Region as the venue to cut sod for the construction of 111 hospitals across the length and breadth of the country.
The program dubbed “AGENDA 111” is to ensure that every district in the country by the close of his tenure, must have a district hospital. Ashanti Region is expected to have fifteen district hospitals out of the 111.
This initiative, when accomplished, shall be the biggest investment in Health Sector in West Africa. And out of the sixteen regions, the President, once again, chose Ashanti Region as the place to commence these projects.
This is very laudable and once again, affirms the President’s utmost regard for this region.
We cannot be ungrateful to the President for all this he’s done for us.
On behalf of the NPP fraternity in Asanteman, I would like to express our utmost gratitude to the President for holding us in high esteem and appreciating our votes.
We shall continue to hold the NPP in high regard as it remains the only party that can safeguard Ghana’s future.
