Asante Kotoko wrap up preseason friendlies with thumping win over Achiken FC

Asante Kotoko continued their impressive run in preseason with a thumping victory over Achiken FC in their final friendly ahead of the start of the new campaign.

The record Ghana Premier League champions returned to Kumasi to complete preaparation after two with in Koforidua with a friendly against the lower tier side.

The Porcupine Warriors were ruthless as they demolished Achiken FC 6-1 at the Adako Jachie training complex.

Emmanuel Gyamfi and new boy Evans Adomako set the game on fire with first half goals, before Osman Ibrahim extended the lead six minutes after the break.

Achiken FC pulled one back through Agyemang Duah, but the consolation did not last as second half substitute William Opoku Mensah restored Kotoko’s three goal lead.
