Asante Kotoko set to sign partnership deal with StarTimes

Asante Kotoko Commercial manager Eric Amoako Twum has disclosed that the club is set to sign a partnership deal with pay-tv television giants StarTimes

The deal he said will help the club be able to stream its matches to the international community to enable their fans across the globe to watch live matches and also attract potential sponsors.

“Streaming live games in this era are very important and possible because of technology. It’s our plan to sign an agreement with StarTimes to give the opportunity for those outside Ghana to watch our matches on their phones” Amoako Twum told Kumasi based OTEC FM

“That is also an avenue to generate some revenue for the team and the partners, but we will first engage the GFA for a possible approval following the current arrangement between them” He added

Asante Kotoko during their participation in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup signed a partnership deal with StarTimes to broadcast their games live on TV.
