Asabee Storms Kwesimintsim With ‘Efie Efie Mu’ Campaign.

Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA) last weekend stormed the Kwesimintsim constituency with what he has termed the ‘’efie efie mu campaign tour’’.

The tour offers the SIGA boss the opportunity to explain the ruling government’s policies to households as well as people in electoral areas within the constituency he visits.

At the Nyamekyere community in Kwesimintsim, Mr Asamoah Boateng who is popularly called ‘’Asabee’’ gathered some of the residents at the Nyamebekyere school park where he explained the social intervention initiatives by the government to them.

He noted that the one district one factory (1D 1F) policy as declared by the government was to ensure that every community or district gets the opportunity to have a factory where the production of raw material or consumables could be made.

‘’All the initiatives of this government are aimed at giving the Ghanaian a better life and nothing satisfies the President, Nana Addo than seeing the youth have jobs as well as the unemployed finding avenues to use their talents to build and develop Ghana’’, the SIGA Director General disclosed.

APREMDO ELECTORAL AREA:

At the Apremdo electoral area, Mr Asamoah Boateng after touring some homes also gathered some of the youth in the community at a place called Palace garden where he explained in detail plans by the government to use job creation to transform the country’s economy.

Mr Boateng said the NPP government believes in the potential and entrepreneurial spirit of the youth and hence the investments in initiatives that could offer them training and financial support.

Agencies such as the National Entrepreneurship Initiative Program (NEIP), the Youth Employment Authority (YEA) and the Nation Builders Corps (NABCo) as well as many others, Asabee noted were created to ensure they provide the youth with jobs and skills training.

He revealed that some of these agencies would from next year be creating avenues for permanent employment for the teeming youth in the country.

‘’We in the NPP know the passion with which Nana Addo uses to push things for the benefit of the youth and we are not surprised that permanent jobs would be created in these agencies for the youth when he wins the 2020 elections’’, the SIGA boss intimated.

COMMITMENT:

Mr Boateng expressed the President’s commitment to fully implement all policies he espoused when he stood for election in 2016.

He noted that the electorate needed to add four more years to the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to enable him to fully roll out the initiatives and policies.

Asabee also asked the Kwesimintsim constituents to endorse the NPP parliamentary candidate, Dr Prince Hamid Armah so that the party would get majority to formulate better policies for the people of Ghana.

‘’When you get to the voting arena on December 7 do remember that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has shown commitment to your welfare and promises to do more when he is given four more years and while you cast your vote for him make sure you do same for Dr Prince Hamid Armah as your MP’’, Mr Asamoah Boateng passionately stressed.
