Arrest Motor Riders With Passengers To Reduce Robberies – NPP Chairman Tells Police
The Second Vice Chairman for Suame Constituency of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr Richard Asante, has called for immediate arrest of motor riders with passengers in Kumasi.
He attributed the spate of robberies in the country to motor riders who undergo criminal operations with passengers on board.
Mr Asante, was reacting to the daylight robbery which occurred at Alabar, a suburb of Kumasi over the weekend which led to the death of a businessman.
According to him, robbers recently use motor bikes with two people on board and an accompanied hatchback which, he said, are used to keep their guns and knives.
He said the police should embark on such operations as immediate as possible to help reduce the rate of criminal activities in the country.
Mr Asante commended the police for apprehending three suspected persons behind the Alabar robbery.
